A large percentage of pet owners cannot see the benefit of pet insurance; the reason for this remains a mystery. Most Americans are quick to arrange their own health insurance; with this being the case, looking after our pets should be equally important.
Many do not consider this an important matter; this attitude quickly changes when these pet owners are presented with the bills for treatment. The cost of taking an animal for treatment at the vets has become more expensive during the last ten years; of course the knock-on effect has been a rise in pet insurance premiums.
